Our Birthday King!!!

Happy Birthday Andrew!!!!

Our boy turned 19 today....I guess that means he isn't our boy any more........he is our man!!! Do you ever really stop being your parents boy or girl??? I don't think so, Andrew and Chelsea will always be our little boy and girl.

We didn't have a big blow out but enjoyed a nice meal outside on an AWESOME day and then just kicked around not doing anything in particular. Andrew had to show off for us a little with his Birthday crown.

A Word from Princess S

Hello!!! This is the place for my inconsequential ramblings on life and anything else that might pop up in the lives of my family and friends.
I grew up on a farm in Iowa in the 80’s as an only child. I am not spoiled, inconsiderate or hard to get along with as long things go my way….HAHAHAHA….gotcha!!!
Really I am a pretty simple girl and don’t tend to take myself too seriously. Laughter and creativity are two of my favorite things in life (besides the obvious) and I like to engage in both when ever possible. I am not a perfect wife, mother or person for that matter, but I know the One (Jesus) who is. He leads me where I need to go but my stubbornness sometimes requires Him to exercise great patience with me. I take detoured paths and go around the same mountains several times before I concede and let Him do His amazing works. I am learning that my stubbornness is no match for the love He has for me and I would be better off just trusting Him from the start. My trips around those luminous mountains are getting fewer and fewer as I grow older…….I hope that means I am growing wiser.
I would love to hear from the masses or just the handful of people that take the time to read my silly thoughts. I enjoy meeting new people and hearing about their stories, a person can learn so much just by listening. When it comes right down to it, the only things that we really own are our stories and our interpretations of those stories……here is my fragmented journey.
